Rad Fluid Leak 1998 Z-24 Cavalier?

So every time i go out i am leaking rad fluid and i don%26#039;t know where it%26#039;s coming from. Some times it starts to overheat and the fluid is boiling in the tank where you ad the fluid. I have replaced the thermostat housing because it was leaking there. The rad itself doesn%26#039;t seem to be leaking. Where else could it be coming from? Could it be my water pump?

take the upper hose off and pour bars stop leak( at auto zon, advance auto parts etc.)in to the upper hose it should stop in a day

It could be a lot of things. Water pump, crack in your hoses, cracked radiator. Find out where it leaking and fix the problem.








and those radiator quick fix poor in things dont work. they are a short term fix, not a solution.
Reply:Could be hoses, water pump, freeze plugs, intake gasket, head gasket, radiator etc...Best bet is to take it to a shop and pay the 40 dollars and have it pressure tested and block tested.
Reply:check all the hoses, water pump and the cap.
