No, you really shouldn%26#039;t leave a car sitting for that long (especially %26quot;on empty%26quot;). Chances are pretty good you have no gas left in your tank, due to the time it has sat in the heat.

God bless!

You should run it for a few minutes every week...
Reply:If you were planning on leaving your auto out so long, I would have recommended a breathable car cover. They cost $30-40 at Target or Walmart and are great to use. It protects your paint job from the damaging sun.

Also, unplug the battery for sure if it is going to be left out for that long and make sure you have a full tank of gas. There are scientific reasons behind this, but I guess you can to take my word for it.

HOWEVER, since you already left your car out, there%26#039;s nothing that can be done about it. Just start your car and get an oil change and it should be up and running.
Reply:its best to either run the car a short time , and move it so its on a different spot on the tires , or put iyt up on stands . The battery may go flat and standing on the tires in the same place isnt good for them either .

Add a couple gallons of gas , and leave for a day or two to clear tyhe fuel filter in the tank when you want to start it again .
Reply:Car has been parked for 4 months? Car, Year %26amp; Mileage? %26quot;Yeah!%26quot; What is the Full Question?
Reply:Yes, that%26#039;s fine. Eventually they will notice it never moves, tag it, and a couple of days after that the tow truck will come and you won%26#039;t have to worry about it any more, just pay for the tow and storage and give them the title.
